This TiviMate setup guide explains how to prepare the player on Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, add the private access details supplied by your provider, organize the electronic program guide, and test playback. TiviMate is an independent media player and does not include channels or a subscription.
Devices that work with TiviMate
TiviMate is designed for television screens using Android TV or Google TV. It is also commonly installed on supported Fire TV devices using the current instructions from the official TiviMate source. It is not intended as a native player for iPhone, iPad, Samsung Tizen or LG webOS.
What you need
- A compatible Android TV, Google TV or Fire TV device.
- A reliable internet connection.
- Your private server address, username and password, or another supported playlist method.
- The legitimate TiviMate player from an official source.
Install TiviMate safely
On Android TV or Google TV, search for TiviMate in Google Play and verify the app information before installing. Fire TV users should follow the current instructions published by TiviMate. Avoid modified copies that promise unlocked premium features because they may be outdated or unsafe.
Add your playlist
- Open TiviMate and select Add Playlist.
- Choose Xtream Codes or M3U according to the details supplied by your provider.
- Enter every detail carefully without extra spaces.
- Name the playlist so it is easy to identify.
- Allow the categories and TV guide to finish loading.
- Open an available stream to confirm playback.
Organize the TV guide
Create favorites for the categories you use most and hide groups you do not need. Check the device time zone if guide times appear incorrect. Schedule guide updates while the device is idle so the player is ready when you begin watching.
Improve playback on a television
Use Ethernet when practical or a strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection near the router. Close unused apps on older devices and keep free storage available. If you plan to stream on several screens simultaneously, test them together and select the correct connection allowance.
Common TiviMate setup problems
The playlist will not load
Recheck the server address, username and password. Confirm the selected login method matches the information you received.
The guide time is wrong
Correct the device time zone, refresh the guide and restart the player. Do not apply several offset settings at once.
Playback buffers
Compare Wi-Fi and Ethernet, restart the device and router, and review our internet speed and stability guide.
TiviMate FAQ
Does TiviMate sell subscriptions?
No. TiviMate is a player. A separate service supplies valid access details.
Can TiviMate work on a Samsung or LG television?
It is not a native Tizen or webOS app. Those televisions can use another compatible player or a separate Android TV, Google TV or Fire TV device.
How many televisions can use my subscription?
The subscription controls simultaneous connections. Installing the player on several televisions does not automatically allow several streams at once.
